Aging – 2 Years, 40% New French Oak

Winemaker Notes :

“Thomson Vineyard” is tucked in the Wild Horse Valley AVA of Napa. The Vineyard is planted against a canyon offering a cooler climate back drop for these grapes. Granite soil provides a difficult growing environment for these vines that struggle for everything. They take up. Harvested on the 22nd of October. The wine underwent 5 days of cold soak, then fermented using native yeast strains. 100% French Oak was used with 40% being new barrels, only 125 cases were produced, the wine is unfiltered and unfined.
